OC 10.27 is a photography and media company lead by our creative director and founder, Misael. His love for photography first began in 2017 when he was gifted his first dslr, a canon t6 and a 50mm lens. Around the end of 2019, he decided to begin freelancing with photography and copyediting. He was fortunate to land an apprenticeship and

His love for photography first began in 2017 when he was gifted his first dslr, a canon t6 and a 50mm lens. Around the end of 2019, he decided to begin freelancing with photography and copyediting. He was fortunate to land an apprenticeship and contract with a local design firm - AfroLogic Art- founded by a St. Louis local artist, Cory Lampkin Jr.
Cory empowered Misael to seek fulfillment and confidence in his art. Initially fulfilling a role of copy-editor and assistant to Cory, Misael was able to grow learning about studio lighting, editorial photography, corporate cinematography, event planning, graphic design, and small business management. Unfortunately, the pandemic disrupted future partnership with AfroLogic Art. Nevertheless, our founder remains undeterred and dedicated to establishing a dependable, client-centric business. The company's mission is simple. Help all patrons capture beautiful moments and help businesses build meaningful and empowering digital content.
